Nikol’s Must Have Fashion Picks

Every girl has to have the right staples in her closet to make everything work.  I am obsessed with  Charlotte York from Sex and the City.  Her look and style are very Kate Spade with a little J Crew/Diane von Furstenburg thrown into the mix.  Here are a couple of classic pieces I have in my closet to make everything work.

You can never go wrong with the classic kacki trench coat.  I have been wearing mine this past week like it’s going out of style since it’s been pouring here.

Always in style and goes with everything

I always turn to my classic little black dress when I have an impromptu cocktail party.  I add a pearl necklace or statement broach and I am off to enjoy my pink martini.

You can never go wrong with a pair of patent nude pumps by Jimmy Choo, I am in love with these “Gilbert” patent pumps.  Even though they are pricey they are worth their weight in gold. You will wear them over and over so the cost per wear (that’s how I justify buying them) is very little.

It’s almost impossible to find the perfect pair of white jeans, but when you do you will hold on to them like the last bite of that low calorie chocolate cake.  They are perfect for spring/summer weekend getaways.  Even though you might not wear them all year long they are the best go to jean when you want a light fresh look.

I love love love wearing pearls, it always makes you look classic and polished even if you are wearing jeans and a T Shirt.
