Sweet, beautiful and a joy to work with meet Kelly one of my brides this past spring season. Kelly and her girlfriends came into the studio last summer full of life and lots of champagne for Kelly’s trial run. It’s so much fun to have the girls in my studio’s living room talking about all the wedding details, drinking champagne and being super girly. I loved the look Kelly picked from her dress to her hair it was very high fashion, she was so cute she knew exactly what she wanted from the hair piece she brought with her to Kelly’s LOVE of lots of lashes. I was doing some research today while popping some delicious skittles in my mouth (I know not good for me but this running is making me need a little sugar) and drinking my berry La Croix. I stumbbled across a website called One Night Stand Miami www.onenightstand.com I know come on like that happens???? The genius behind The  “ultra hip” Opium Group and the director of the International interactive Off Broadway hit “Tony N’ Tina’s Wedding” have created the ultimate experience for gals who love a good time – One Night Stand, Miami’s Hottest Girls Night Out.

Come on girls shouldn’t we all be singing “Save a horse ride a Cowboy?” after looking at their website that’s what I am thinking. This hot show runs every Saturday night doors open at 9:30pm and show starts at 10:30pm.

The best line on their website was “Whether you’re a bride to be or not, you’re gonna party like the ultimate bachelorette so wear your slinkiest nightclub attire. Perhaps you can take back some evidence of the glorious evening but be sure to hide it from your significant other, consider it our little secret!” Only in Miami can you get away with saying that.

Here I go again cleaning out and organizing my office, it’s so much fun when I run across a photo shoot that I don’t remember. I shot this in 2007 with photographer Ben Fink Shapiro www.benfinkshapiro.com it was an amazing shoot being in SoHo and living it up in New York City. I love how these pictures capture the New York energy and vibe.

Can’t wait to get back to the city this summer.

I was delighted when Amy Hill wedding photographer extraordinaire www.amyhill.net came to my studio a couple of weeks ago to capture the pink and girly essence of Fresh Beauty Studio. Amy has a unique eye when it comes to capturing your wedding from the smallest details of your pedicure color just happening to be blue to the emotion on your finance’s face when he has no idea that there is a camera near him. I was so excited to see the final pictures of my studio and share them with you. Amy captured all my “little details” from loving Gerard Butler on my vision board to my pink paris book on my dresser. As you know I love everything PINK, pink flowers, pink lip gloss, pink Jimmy Choo’s, so this year for my birthday I am planning on a pink and black Paris themed party. The pictures below will give you a little sneak peak to what I am planning, and Yes, I will be celebrating in Paris!!! It’s going to take lots of detailed planning but I am up for the challenge and excitement all the Pink, Pink and more Pink planning holds. What can I say but C’est la Vie!

Fresh Beauty Studios sister company is A Pretty Event www.aprettyevent.com we had the wonderful opportunity to plan and be a part of Katelin and Lee’s wedding this past weekend.

Pink, Chocolate brown and lime green were the colors our bride Katelin picked for her beautiful wedding this past weekend at The Hilton Fort Lauderdale www.hilton.com. Katelin and Lee live in New York City and knew exactly what they wanted when they booked the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort from the beautiful beach back drop, pink straws in the delish mojito’s to the limes in the bottom of the vases. Zena Hawes is the catering manager at The Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort and when we say she is on top of her game we mean it. Amanda (one of APE’s wedding coordinators) worked hand and hand with Zena to create this beautiful event. Amanda and Zena had a great time decorating the Bridal Suite in A Pretty Event’s signature style with the new letter of our Brides last name on the bed in rose petals. We love how a trail of rose petals to the suite sets the tone for a very romantic night. Flowers were by Dalsimer Atlas, Photographer was Maloman photography, Photo Booth was by Shutterbox, wedding cake by We Take the Cake.

We can’t wait to see the pictures from Stephan they are truly going to be “Pretty”. I will update the blog with pictures from the ballroom, getting ready shots etc from Maloman Photography in the next couple of weeks.

Off again to the islands for our beautiful bride and groom’s island wedding on the amazing tiny island of Bimini in the Bahamas. The 3 day festivities were kicked off with a beachy rehearsal dinner, intimate ocean front sit down dinner and a Sunday brunch. The feel for the hair and makeup was very natural, chic and glowy. Lani our bride wanted to keep her hair down with Jessica Simpson style curls each day. We wanted to keep the hair romantic but natural adding in a couple orange orchids for the wedding day.  The makeup look varied for each event from dramatic on Friday night to soft and defined for the wedding. There is nothing like being in the islands for a holiday wedding and having unusually cool weather (60 degree’s that’s what we are talking about).

Joi just gave me the CD from her August 23rd, 2008 wedding! I was so excited to download her pictures and share them with you. Joi was a unique bride for Fresh Beauty Studio, she arrived at our studio with a huge 3 ring binder of hair and makeup trials and the first words out of her mouth were “I have had 12 trials and I am not happy with any of them” YIKES! Joi wanted to create a very dark smoky eye with a pinky nude lip; you can see from the pictures that this look created a very modern, clean look for her with her wedding colors of pink and soft champagne.

Joi had dreamed of having her wedding at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach www.thebreakers.com since she was a little girl. Her dreams did come true last August with a beautiful wedding and amazing honeymoon. She is a huge fan of pink as you can see by her bridesmaid’s dresses and her bridal bouquet. I love the parasols on the beach!
