OK ladies, you know how much I stress the importance of the following:

    1. Research your Xtreme lash stylist

    2. Make sure you see before and after pictures of your lash stylist’s work

    3. How many Xtreme lash full sets or fills do they do in a week?

I can’t tell you how many clients come into my studio for an Xtreme lash fill with extensions that are damaging their natural lash because of improper application, too much glue or the wrong thickness and length. It’s so important to know the points mentioned above.  These are your eyes and you are trusting a professional to apply surgical glue to your natural eyelashes. The quality of your lash extensions depends solely on the skills of your lash stylist, make sure you research and get referrals from other Xtreme Lash clients when it comes to booking your next fill or full set.

I had a client come in today that had a real issue with her Xtreme Lashes. They were too long for her natural lashes which you can see by the ”before” pictures. There was too much glue at the base and they were too heavy for  her natural lash making her extensions twist and clump together.

The first pictures below are of when my client arrived to my studio,  I always take pictures so I can show the client what they looked like and what I did to correct the damage.

Products used for this Xtreme Lash application:

Preped with Xtreme eye makeup remover and facial cleanser

    Prep with Xtreme Lash primer

    Xtreme Ultra Glue

    C-Curl Black thick in 8,9,10,11,12

I used 4 C-Curl 13  mixed in where her arch is in her eyebrow to give a little height to her eye

    Before shot of left eye

Full set of Xtreme Lashes with proper length and thickness

If smoking wasn’t bad enough for your health it’s actually an eyelash danger. I had a client come into the studio with not your average lash issue. Kelly was trying to light her cigarette and the flame burned off her left eye lashes. You can see from the before picture that her entire left eye has lashes that are blunt or look like you took scissors and cut them. This really affected my client Kelly since her job is high profile and people were noticing her mishap. Xtreme Lashes to the rescue, I measured her natural lash on her right eye so I could create the proper length for the damaged lashes on her left eye. The result was amazing you would never have known that she burned off her left eyelashes. Beauty tip girls, NO SMOKING!

When you think of the Aboacos Islands you think tropical, calm seas and delicious exotic drinks. My client Elle came into the studio last night for a full set of Xtreme Lashes www.xtremelashes.com for her upcoming trip to the Abacos Islands. Elle wanted to have full lush lashes for her trip to the islands thatwill be full of diving, swimming and going out on the town and didn’t want to worry about mascara running down her face when she made the famous Bo Derek’s slow motion run out of the ocean. I used C-Curl thick on Elle starting with 8mm in the inner corners to give her a natural start to her Xtreme Lash line. I then used 9,10,11,12mm also in C-Curl thick with Xtreme Ultra glue tapering down at the ends with 10mm. The look was natural with “Pumped up volume and thickness” for Elle’s lash line. You don’t want to get carried away with the length when you are going to be outside in the water and doing a lot of activities. Elle is excited to show off her new look this coming week on her tropical vacation and that, Oh so very cute polka dot bikini.

Now that summer is here I am receiving so many calls to book Xtreme Lashes for the summer, my new and existing clients love the fact they don’t have to deal with mascara all over their face this hot and sizzling summer. I couldn’t agree more. Why do all of that when you can get semi permanent lashes that last up to 3-4 weeks before you need a fill. I had a new client in today that is headed to the beautiful island of the Dominican Republic for a wedding, she wanted to have her eyes pop but at the same time be very low maintenance while traveling. Cindy picked Xtreme Lashes www.xtremelashes.com as her choice for semi permanent lashes. As you can see from the before and after pictures below, Cindy has very light and thin lashes, the key here is to apply the appropriate length and amount of glue. I used Black J-curl for the 7mm and the C-curl for 8mm and 9mm and the Ultra glue. Her natural lash is around a 6mm-7mm so I picked a length just 2 mm longer than her natural lash for the optimum wear ability. This lash application took just under 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cindy looks amazing with her Xtreme Lashes. Now Cindy’s eyes POP and she is excited that she can swim, spa and workout with her new lashes. We can’t wait to see pictures from her adventure.  julie-eye-lashes-001.jpgBEFORE julie-eye-lashes-003.jpgAFTER WITH XTREME LASHES

I was delighted when Amy Hill wedding photographer extraordinaire www.amyhill.net came to my studio a couple of weeks ago to capture the pink and girly essence of Fresh Beauty Studio. Amy has a unique eye when it comes to capturing your wedding from the smallest details of your pedicure color just happening to be blue to the emotion on your finance’s face when he has no idea that there is a camera near him. I was so excited to see the final pictures of my studio and share them with you. Amy captured all my “little details” from loving Gerard Butler on my vision board to my pink paris book on my dresser. Thank you Amy for capturing Fresh Beauty Studio in a Fresh and Beautiful way.

I was so excited to have Zena in the studio again for a full set of Xtreme Lashes! Zena’s exotic beauty comes from being half Filipino and Irish (what a great combo). I created a very glam lash look by using Xtreme Lash C-Curl in thick ranging form 8mm to 13mm. I created a glamour look for Zena so they are a little longer than what I would put on a client that is looking for more of an everyday lash look. You can view my application on my YouTube Channel at www.youtube.com/freshbeautystudio Can’t wait to see Zena’s gorgeous lashes in the press this Gala season.

Bella is one of our exotic beauties from Seoul, Korea she was back in the studio today for a full set of Xtreme Lashes www.xtremelashes.com Bella has a Big birthday right around the corner and wants to look gorgeous. I used C-curls in black ranging from 8mm to 12mm to give her a gradual increase in length without being too long. You can see the before and after shots below of her lashes.

It’s important to go to a certified lash stylist that can look at your eye shape and understand what lengths will be the best choice for you based on your lash health, lifestyle, the look you want to achieve and style. You never want to jeopardize the health of your natural lashes with the wrong type of glue or damaging lash application. Make sure you do your research when looking for a lash stylist. A great resource is the Xtreme Lash directory, on the site you can find a certified lash stylist in your city or country.

My client today was Joi an amazing beauty that is both Thai and American, if you remember she was one of FBS’s 2008 brides at The Breakers in Palm Beach. Joi is just that a pure joy to work with. Joi is beautiful, gracious and so sweet, Joi and I share a love of everything pink so each time she comes into the studio we share all of our pink obsessions.

The look I gave Joi today for her Xtreme Lashes www.xtremelashes.com was a full and modern look. Joi loves her lashes super full and noticeable; this was her second full set with FBS so we designed her lashes to be for everyday wear but with a full lush look. She has over 60 lashes on each eye with lengths ranging from 9mm to 12mm.  Joi knows that she will get a custom design Xtreme lash for her unique eye shape when she comes to Fresh Beauty Studio, each client is different and I want every client to walk out with their own signature style.

What an exciting life Lynn our client for today’s Xtreme Lash www.xtremelashes.com feature has. Born in Australia she has toured the world (all 7 continents) on a 190 foot yacht; not too shabby for a sexy Aussie. Lynn is leaving for Cabo San Lucas tomorrow for a month and wanted an eye popping look. I used C-curls (in varying lengths from 9-13 mm) for the ultimate natural bend but with more curl than your average J-curl. Lynn has over 65 lashes on each eye. With each client I look at her bone structure, eye shape and discuss the “look” she is trying to create. Lynn calls herself a true “Lash Addict” but who can blame her with eyes like that, she can rule the world.
