Samantha and her Mother Lauren were such a delight to work with, they were so cute each time they came into the studio all excited to create beautiful hair and makeup. I am finally now just posting our beautiful bride Erin from New York City. Her wedding was June 13th, 2009 at The Breakers, her colors were yellow and white with a touch of black. She looked so radiant and fresh. I created a very simple side up do that was textured with lots of loose curls, for her makeup I kept it very bronzy and sexy, our vision was Charlize Theron. I will be posting pictures of her whole bridal party shortly.

I was so excited when Jessica called me from Chicago to book Fresh Beauty Studio for her June 19th destination wedding at The Breakers. What was so exciting about booking Jessica and her bridal party was that I was booked for her sister Leslie’s wedding on July 7th, 2007 (Yes, that’s 07/07/07) also at The Breakers. It was such a pleasure to see their Mother Karen again and of course sister Leslie, she looked amazing just having a baby a couple months prior. The colors Jessica picked out for her bridal party were so fresh and tropical.

I loved the coral bridesmaid dresses they looked amazing on the girls.  We gave the bridesmaids a goldish/bronze eye with glossy lips. Jessica radiated beauty with her perfectly matching semi permanent hair extensions that were put in the week of her wedding by our extension specialist Brittany. Jessica picked out a beautiful picture of Tyra Banks on the red carpet for inspiration  for the bridesmaids hair style (see picture below) For Jessica’s makeup I created a bronzy smokey eye with a combination of shadows by MAC and a glowing cheek with NARS multiples in South Beach.

OK here is my first Bloopers video, I am getting better at this editing thing even though it makes me CRAZY!!!! I have had such a fun time creating segments, taking my little camera to the islands with me and capturing all our fun locations. Thank you to all my brides, models, stylist, cute half naked boy and of course my little Boston Terrier.  Keep a look out for my next bloopers video!

I was delighted when Amy Hill wedding photographer extraordinaire www.amyhill.net came to my studio a couple of weeks ago to capture the pink and girly essence of Fresh Beauty Studio. Amy has a unique eye when it comes to capturing your wedding from the smallest details of your pedicure color just happening to be blue to the emotion on your finance’s face when he has no idea that there is a camera near him. I was so excited to see the final pictures of my studio and share them with you. Amy captured all my “little details” from loving Gerard Butler on my vision board to my pink paris book on my dresser. Thank you Amy for capturing Fresh Beauty Studio in a Fresh and Beautiful way.

I love this new wedding dress collection by Carol Hannah, Inspired by Charleston, South Carolina’s high society and luxe boho vibe, the frocks are sassy and sophisticated without being stuffy. Fresh Beauty Studios sister company is A Pretty Event www.aprettyevent.com we had the wonderful opportunity to plan and be a part of Katelin and Lee’s wedding this past weekend.

Pink, Chocolate brown and lime green were the colors our bride Katelin picked for her beautiful wedding this past weekend at The Hilton Fort Lauderdale www.hilton.com. Katelin and Lee live in New York City and knew exactly what they wanted when they booked the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort from the beautiful beach back drop, pink straws in the delish mojito’s to the limes in the bottom of the vases. Zena Hawes is the catering manager at The Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort and when we say she is on top of her game we mean it. Amanda (one of APE’s wedding coordinators) worked hand and hand with Zena to create this beautiful event. Amanda and Zena had a great time decorating the Bridal Suite in A Pretty Event’s signature style with the new letter of our Brides last name on the bed in rose petals. We love how a trail of rose petals to the suite sets the tone for a very romantic night. Flowers were by Dalsimer Atlas, Photographer was Maloman photography, Photo Booth was by Shutterbox, wedding cake by We Take the Cake.

We can’t wait to see the pictures from Stephan they are truly going to be “Pretty”. I will update the blog with pictures from the ballroom, getting ready shots etc from Maloman Photography in the next couple of weeks.

Kelly looked so beautiful this past Easter weekend with her glowing smile and zen energy. Kelly was such a sweet bride to work with, she knew exactly what she wanted way back when she came into the studio with her girlfriends in July 2009. I remember Kelly was very strong with wanting a very high fashion yet vintage look for her wedding. She nailed the look with a very feminine white flower with feathers, it was the perfect accent piece for the vintage look. For her hair I created a high front and lots of texture with curls for her side bun very a la red carpet. Makeup was a smoky eye with espresso and gold tones, I put on new false eyelashes we just got into the studio for a Kim Kardashian look and Kelly LOVED them. I usually apply individual false lashes but the look Kelly wanted to achieve I couldn’t get with lashes that were all the same length so I opted for the more dramatic strip lashes; as you can see from the pictures her lashes were still not over done.
