A New York Minute…

Here I go again cleaning out and organizing my office, it’s so much fun when I run across a photo shoot that I don’t remember. I shot this in 2007 with photographer Ben Fink Shapiro www.benfinkshapiro.com it was an amazing shoot being in SoHo and living it up in New York City. I love how these pictures capture the New York energy and vibe.

Can’t wait to get back to the city this summer.

As you know I love to paint and go to museums from New York City to Paris, I ran across this article in a past issue of Lucky Magazine www.luckymagazine.com and I thought it was something that you would enjoy. I was delighted when Amy Hill wedding photographer extraordinaire www.amyhill.net came to my studio a couple of weeks ago to capture the pink and girly essence of Fresh Beauty Studio. Amy has a unique eye when it comes to capturing your wedding from the smallest details of your pedicure color just happening to be blue to the emotion on your finance’s face when he has no idea that there is a camera near him. I was so excited to see the final pictures of my studio and share them with you. Amy captured all my “little details” from loving Gerard Butler on my vision board to my pink paris book on my dresser. Thank you Amy for capturing Fresh Beauty Studio in a Fresh and Beautiful way.

Rebel Rock Star

Once you watch my YouTube video on my Rebel Rock Star look www.youtube.com/freshbeautystudio you might have second thoughts on putting on one of TempTu’s temporary tattoo’s. I was having a little trouble today with the application which is super simple but for some reason it was quite the challenge. The tattoo’s are called Adorned by TempTu www.temptu.com and come in 3 different kits named: Seductive Chic, Girly Chic and Zen Chic. I applied the lips to my wrist today (see picture below) that come in the Seductive Chic kit. This is one of my favorite websites www.apartmenttherapy.com it has chic apartments from Paris to New York that are challenged by not having enough space and what their owners do with the limited room or just have cool ideas and are showcased on this site. Amazing ideas for your own home, apartment or dorm. You can take house tours, enter the Small, Cool 2010 contest which has different categories for apartments 400 sq ft and under to apartments with over 1,000 sq ft. Its a website that I find a lot of inspiration in and love to hang out on for hours. Enjoy!

Love Letter from Paris

I found this beautiful necklace on http://www.aretedesigns.com it’s amazing how having a necklace all about love, love letters (which is so rare now) and my favorite city Paris can do for your day. When you are having the not so fab day as in traffic, too much work, out of espresso pods you look down and are reminded that love is all around you, you just have to take a moment out of your day and remember that life is full of possibilities.

This is my all time favorite Essie nail polish “Not Now” www.essie.com it is a coraly/red color that makes you feel like you are on the island of Capri, sitting on a yacht with a kir royale in hand; dreaming of sexy masculine French men in what ever that is they call swim trunks. When smoking was chic and there were no reprecussions for inhaling poison ohhh the days……..This color is vintage not available through Essie anymore but you can always check discontinued cosmetic sites for this delicious color.

Living in Paris

As I sat watching Julie & Julia this past weekend I dreamed of booking my ticket to Paris and just roaming around the most romantic city in the world with fresh flowers and a freshly baked baguette. I saw myself sitting at a cafe where drinking wine at any hour is acceptable and encouraged while composing deep passionate poetry. I could watch Julie & Julia over and over again Meryl Streep did an amazing job playing Julia Child, it was so inspiring to see how Julia was a very driven, dedicated and passionate women. I am off to dream more about Paris………..
