Just when you think you have fashion, beauty and love figured out…….you don’t.  If you find yourself deep in thought about the perplexities of life and need an escape there are a couple of remedies.

For Spring 2010 it’s all about keeping the faith and wearing bright cheerful colors. Oscar de la Renta is one of our favorite designers both in bridal wear and 2010 collections. We picked two spring 2010 looks that we loved.

One of my favorite pictures is “The Kiss by the Hôtel de Ville,” taken on a Parisian street in 1950, Love is all around us, take time to appreciate everyone in your life today. Life is short embrace the love that is given to you, don’t question it just live and enjoy it.

Joi just gave me the CD from her August 23rd, 2008 wedding! I was so excited to download her pictures and share them with you. Joi was a unique bride for Fresh Beauty Studio, she arrived at our studio with a huge 3 ring binder of hair and makeup trials and the first words out of her mouth were “I have had 12 trials and I am not happy with any of them” YIKES! Joi wanted to create a very dark smoky eye with a pinky nude lip; you can see from the pictures that this look created a very modern, clean look for her with her wedding colors of pink and soft champagne.

Joi had dreamed of having her wedding at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach www.thebreakers.com since she was a little girl. Her dreams did come true last August with a beautiful wedding and amazing honeymoon. She is a huge fan of pink as you can see by her bridesmaid’s dresses and her bridal bouquet. I love the parasols on the beach!

Keeping an eye on the makeup trends for fall this smoky eye is just what you want to create. It’s modern yet with a twist, not your usual smoky look which is why we love this sexy eye. You can see that only her bottom lid is lined to keep the look clean and heavy smoke in the crease to create that drama we are always looking for. Keep the lips nude (one of our favorites is NARS Turkish Delight or Striptease lip gloss/MAC liner in Stripdown). Keep cheeks sheer but contoured with a nude/light bronze blush that is very blended.
