Our bride Kiarra met her now husband the old fashioned way, in the supermarket yep, that’s right you always hear the story about hot single guys walking the aisles of the local market but you never really believe it could happen. Well, Kiarra is one beautiful bride to prove it. Kiarra booked the Bonnet House in beautiful Fort Lauderdale, Florida www.bonnethouse.org spans 35 acres, and offers a variety of exquisite settings for events of any size, each uniquely beautiful in its own way. Whether you are planning a close and intimate gathering or a grand and lavish affair, Bonnet House Museum & Gardens sets the scene for romance and timeless memories. I love the feel that the gardens give, it’s like a tropical oasis right off the Fort Lauderdale beach so much history and so romantic. Kiarra wanted to have a very soft, carefree look to her hair and makeup. Her hair was swept to the side with small crystals for accents around the twists in the back. Her makeup was a smoky bronze look with chocolate liner to give the appearance of very well defined eyes but not the harsh look of black liner. Her look was fresh, clean with a little edge of smokiness. I have posted her photos from the bridal suite her photographer was Downtown Photo www.downtownphoto.net I will be updating her posting with her wedding photos in the next couple weeks. I couldn’t wait for Kristin’s wedding to arrive; she was a Bride who knew what she wanted that’s for sure even after changing her hair and makeup two days before the big event! We redesigned her hair and makeup to reflect the laid back, super chic South Beach wedding she was about to create, sandcastle and all! Location was the ultra hip Raleigh Hotel www.raleighhotel.com on South Beach sister hotel to Hollywood’s famed Chateau Marmont and The Mercer in New York, this classic luxury boutique hotel in South Beach has undergone a thoughtful renovation by hotelier André Balazs. You can see her individual style by the shoes she picked out, couldn’t be any old garter she customized it with her alma mater FSU, Go Seminoles! March 28th, 2009
As you can guess I LOVE Pairs and anything Paris so when I run across a theater named Paris the rest is history. This past week I was in New York City for the Wedding Salon bridal show, WOW was it amazing I have pictures I will be posting from that over the top event. I ran across the Paris theater on my way to meet one of my brides, on my way back I stopped in for a matinee, at this Paris theater there is only one movie showing THE READER. It was amazing and a perfect way to relax after tons of meetings. I just love the Paris carpet! March 1st, 2009
Our wedding today was inspired by a retro Hollywood glam feel. Our bride picked a picture of Michelle Williams that was so chic and classic that it really created the whole feel to her bridal party. Fresh Beauty’s team was excited to arrive this morning suited up in our classic black outfits ready to glam up the large wedding party. Bridesmaids dresses were a hunter green mid length dress, we picked a gold shimmer for the eyes with a hint of chocolate bronze for the contour and we kept the lips nude. Our stylist team did such an amazing job delivering red carpet styles to all the bridesmaids. Everyone looked polished but not over done. Orchids were placed in the hair of the bride for a touch of romance. Again thank you to my super star assistant Jheanell for A) Always having her camera (I forget mine most of the time) and 2) Doing an awesome job prepping the bridesmaids. |
