Our first wedding of 2009 was with this delightful couple Johanna and Eric. My makeup was inspired by the beauty of The Breakers Hotel www.thebreakers.com located right on the beach in Palm Beach, Florida. I took some amateur photos from the bridal suite we will be posting the amazing photos that Flash Photo & Video www.flashphotovideomj.com took that day. Johanna went for a very classic “Jessica Alba style” volume bun that gave her a very sleek but modern look. She had two dresses one for the wedding and one for the reception. We changed her hair for the reception by adding some orchids to enhance her romantic look. We kept her makeup clean, fresh and dewy. The bridal party wore candy apple red silk dresses that were gorgeous but we didn’t want the makeup to compete with the dress so we choose a bronze palette for the eyes and a nude lip. The flower girls were so precious with their red and white dresses on. My inspiration for the Fiji picture was because the Bride and Groom were off today to Fiji then to Bora Bora. Congratulations Johanna and Eric! January 2nd, 2009 December 31st, 2008

Can you believe it 2 postings in one night, I am on a roll! Leah our Bride today came all the way from the Windy City or should we say Freezing City? for her “I Do’s”. She found our studio on the Style Me Pretty www.stylemepretty.com website and knew we were perfect for what she was looking for. Leah wasn’t going to be down in South Florida before her December 28th wedding so she booked the studio via email and sent us some pictures of the hair and makeup she wanted to create. Leah wanted a very clean, natural look for her makeup and a simple half up half down look for her hair. Her dress was chic and classy with just a touch of detail. We look forward to seeing her pictures when she gets back from her Caribbean honeymoon. December 29th, 2008
Can you believe the year is almost over? Wow, we have beautified over 30 bridal parties this year as you can see from my posting I haven’t kept up with showing you all our work. I am making my first New Year’s resolution right now More Blogging in 2009! Here is one of our beautiful brides Melissa at the Mayfair Hotel and Spa in Coconut Grove, Florida. She was such a delight to work with and her amazing photographer Manolo Doreste (love his name) from In Focus Studios www.manolodoreste.com captures the beauty of his brides that is not staged but so natural. Melissa was inspired by a natural zen look for her wedding makeup and hair. The bridal party wore champagne colored dresses and went for clean updo’s. We kept the bridal parties makeup simple with just a touch of bronze shimmer on the eyes and a pop to their cheeks, sexy lashes were the finishing touch to pull the look together. Here are a couple of great shots thanks to my assistant Jheanell. November 12th, 2008

After being booked solid for wedding season, it was time for a much needed break. Trapeze is one of my favorite activities, it’s an amazing workout. Check out the pictures of me flying high in the Big Apple. June 9th, 2008
Tyrene’s wedding was amazing, coming all the way from the Big Apple to Miami for her wedding. This was one of Fresh Beauty Studio’s largest wedding parties. We had a total of 15 people to beautify for hair and makeup. With a timeline as strict as a recipe from “Skinny Bitch”, the bridal party was on time and ready to go. Fresh Beauty Studio’s team of artists and stylists had a great time creating a bronzy sun kissed glow to complement the bridesmaids chocolate brown dresses. Our bride was so relaxed and followed all of our beauty tips, as you can see by her hydrating eye patches….. She looked Gorgeous!!!! The bridal suite was full of Miami flare, from the munchies and mojotos to the flowers, everything was heating up. We can’t wait to see her pictures. « Older blog posts |
