I received a pink book (hmmm why would that happen?) for my birthday and I haven’t put it down since. It’s called “The Between Boyfriends Book” a collection of cautiously hopeful essays by Cindy Chupack. It was on the New York bestseller list and the writer/executive producer of Sex and The City!
The first chapter Lone Rangered basically talks about having a relationship end in a mysterious and annoying way-with no good-bye, no answers, just the vague feeling that you have no idea who that man was. I think we can all relate to this chapter! My girlfriends would be able to put a name on my Lone Ranger for sure.
It’s a great book to grab a glass of your favorite wine, light a candle and fall deep in love with that fact you can laugh or maybe cry about all these silly situations you have been in, are in or might one day find yourself in. As Sarah Jessica Parker put it “Cindy Chupack truly knows how to capture the horror and humor of single womanhood. This book demonstrates her amazing gift for spinning heartbreak into gold.”
Maybe just maybe my collection of essays will one day make it to print, of course bound in all pink!
